When others are speaking to us, it's easy to get lost in our minds thinking of what we’ll say next or judging whatever the other person is telling us. This short guided practice will help us listen to the sounds around us mindfully, resting in the stream of sounds and letting go of our usual mental chatter. Strengthening the mindful listening “muscles” needed for true communication, so you can use them the next time you have a conversation.
