Roundglass Foundation: A lasting impact on Punjab’s Future
At Roundglass Foundation we are on a mission to nurture a community of champions and supporters, not just in India but across the globe. Recently, I had the honor of convening with a group of like-minded individuals in a meeting in California’s San Francisco Bay Area hosted by tech entrepreneur Jasvir Gill. Our goal was to explore how the Punjabi diaspora can join forces with Roundglass Foundation to collectively scale our impact.
In a gathering that brought together leading academicians and philanthropists from Silicon Valley, we discussed the transformative work undertaken by Roundglass Foundation in Punjab. I strongly believe that active participation from the diaspora – especially from the Silicon Valley due to the innovation and ideas it generates – is vital, as it brings together the wisdom, time, and effort needed to raise awareness on how, together, we can enhance our homeland, Punjab.
The presence of esteemed academicians such as renowned scientist Dr. Gurdev Singh Kush, Dr. Jagdish K Ladha from UC Davis, and Supreet Kaul from UC Berkeley and other prominent diaspora leaders from the Valley added depth and perspective to our meeting. I am grateful for their valuable insights and commitment to the cause in making a lasting impact on Punjab’s future.
