About this Class

This breathwork exercise will help synchronize your heart and brain rhythms so you can feel more stable emotionally.

Your "resonance frequency" is the pace in which the heart rate and breathing rate synchronize. Research has shown that breathing at your resonant frequency dramatically improves cardiovascular functioning with immediate effects on negative mood and anxiety. in this short practice, Dr. David Vago will teach you how to achieve this, by pacing your breathing rate down to four to seven breaths per minute.
