Sangeeta Khanna is a trained microbiologist who turned to food and nutrition after her daughter was diagnosed with a medical condition. She now develops nutritionally rich products targeted at improving the food habits of children and young adults.
As a renowned author and freelance writer, Sangeeta is known for her methodical approach towards educating and motivating people to care about their own health. She has written and contributed to several books focused around traditional cuisines and wild foods. Her articles promoting regional cuisine and forgotten recipes have featured in newspapers and magazines across India.
Sangeeta is a trailing spouse who gets to live in different cities and experience varied cultures while also travelling for her own work. As a consultant, she recently started building a closed-loop food system — part of a project in India’s northern desert state of Rajasthan. She is putting everything she has learnt into practice for the project, which she believes will be her most fulfilling work to date.
