About this Class

Learn how to start meditating by taking a pause to experience the deep connection between your body and your mind.

Take a journey in an imaginary elevator that will bring light to different areas of the body.  Starting at the head, you will go down, making stops at the nose, neck, heart, and belly. Each stop will help you become aware of what is there —including physical sensations, thoughts, and emotions — awakening your curiosity, and bringing a deeper understanding of your body's connection to the mind. This is a great free guided meditation for beginners and advanced meditators alike.

Kate Savage is a meditation practitioner and teacher in the Theravada tradition. She aims to spread Buddha’s teachings, so they are accessible and understandable to anyone, anywhere. Savage has been actively practicing meditation since 1993 and currently teaches others how to exercise mindfulness.
