The Launch of The Roundglass India Center at Seattle University

I'm thrilled to announce the launch of the RoundGlass India Center, a significant initiative born out of collaboration between Seattle University and the RoundGlass Foundation at the Seattle-Setu Conference. This partnership signifies a pivotal step in nurturing cross-regional ties between Seattle and India, promoting dialogue, cooperation, and interdisciplinary research.

Our Center's endeavors will encompass a wide array of high-profile public events in Seattle, providing a platform for leaders hailing from diverse sectors in both nations, including business, law, government, and more. We're committed to fostering economic growth, promoting the rule of law, and advancing justice in India, with a particular focus on the state of Punjab. Furthermore, we're dedicated to offering scholarships to Indian students, facilitating their pursuit of education at Seattle University.

Our Center was officially inaugurated during the recent Seattle-Setu conference, a full-day event hosted by Seattle University in collaboration with Greater Seattle Partners. This conference brought together a dynamic array of business leaders, legal experts, philanthropists, civic leaders, and esteemed scholars from both India and the United States.

Sital Kalantry who is a distinguished Professor of Law and currently serves as the Associate Dean of International Programs and Graduate Studies at Seattle University is the Executive Director of The RoundGlass India Center. Kalantry's expertise lies in the field of comparative legal studies in India, which will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the Center's mission. 

The RoundGlass India Center represents an opportunity to host substantive events that shed light on India in the vibrant city of Seattle, while also providing educational scholarships to Indian students. It aligns seamlessly with the RoundGlass Foundation's commitment to fostering economic development and upholding the rule of law in the state of Punjab.
