Every Decision Affects Our Kids’ Future: Michael Stanley-Jones

“We’re the generation that wanted to have it all.” In my conversation with Michael Stanley-Jones, this was a sentence that stood out for me.

Michael has dedicated his life to tackling inequality in social environments and mitigating the risks of climate change. We talked about sustainability, climate change, Planetary Wellbeing, and how every decision we make today has the potential to impact our kids' future. Michael explained, “What we see again and again is countries short-changing the future, because they only care about what happens in two years, what happens in four years, and that’s not the horizon of nature.”
