Anubhuti's Story

Anubhuti Krishna is a writer and editor who is passionate about travelling and eating, and who often swaps flights for trains and fine dining for street food. When not travelling or eating she can be found writing stories about the two.

Growing up in the small towns of Uttar Pradesh in North India, food was the center of her universe. She learnt to cook early, and her idea of fun as a teenager was cooking elaborate meals for her family. Not surprisingly, Anubhuti’s fondest childhood memories revolve around a home filled with laughter and food — and of everyone cooking and eating together.

Anubhuti moved to Delhi with eyes full of dreams and a heart full of hope, and the city didn’t disappoint. In her two-decade career, she has traversed many lines — from being a Learning Manager in leading IT organizations, to working as an independent consultant across industries, to writing for some of the largest publications around the world.

In the past few years, Anubhuti has realized how important it is to represent and document the everyday food of Indian people, and she endeavors to do this through her work. Besides her established passions of eating and travelling, she also enjoys exploring culture and design, reading, and tending to her plants.
