Alison Serour has always used her voice to great effect. As a child growing up in New York City, Serour began singing and dancing on stage at the age of 5. She later earned a degree in musical theatre and vocal performance from the University of Miami. Today, it’s as a kabbalistic meditation teacher that she guides students in taking responsibility, overcoming challenges, and living the lives they desire.
She remembers being drawn to books about astrology, tarot, and past lives as a teen. “I used to see the word kabbalah — it didn’t matter if it was spelled with a C or a K or a Q or if there was one B — every time I saw this word, something inside of me told me that was my life’s path, that was my life’s journey,” she says.
When Serour was about 20, she finally got her formal introduction to the teachings at The Kabbalah Centre, and after experiencing the transformational power of kabbalah within her personal life, she later became an instructor. She has been teaching for more than two decades and is also an emerging producer, composer, and performer of sacred music. Her first album, “Heal,” was released in May 2019.
