Natalie Matias
Mindfulness + Meditation Coach
After losing her mother when she was a young teenager, Natalie Matias discovered breathwork through qi gong. “I first started to understand that lesson of life that nothing is forever; to pause in that stillness was the first roots of building self-compassion,” she says. “To lose the loss of the love of the mother creates this space for resilience to build and cultivate this self-love, this oneness and universal love that you can connect to.”
Natalie’s dedication to community building and connection has led her to lead meditation and mindfulness classes and workshops globally. She’s also the co-founder of an intimate local meditation group for women entrepreneurs and creatives, the Peace Warriors, which began in 2014. Natalie uses her skill sets to advocate for wellness and positive workplace cultures, working with entrepreneurs, professionals, and CEOs to lead conversations that embrace wellness both inside and outside the office. With a passion for neuroscience and a respect for nature and all human beings, Natalie is committed to offering a modern and practical approach to integrating mindfulness and meditation in order to discover vibrant living.

Testimonials
Natalie's meditation and mindfulness sessions have been instrumental in helping me overcome the stresses and anxiety that arise out of the struggle to find the proper work/life balance. In the two-plus years that we've been engaged in her sessions, I've been able to build toward a clearer picture of what that balance should look and feel like, thanks to her attention to detail and forthright approach.

Natalie is a joy to work with on so many levels. I first met Natalie as a learner in a Mindfulness Without Borders (MWB) course and was drawn to her presence and her ability to share thoughtfully, listen deeply, and show empathy for her classmates. Once the course was over, MWB sought out Natalie as a facilitator for our programming because of her proven expertise leading groups and immediately asked her to join our training team because of her performance, capacity, and dedication. She is reliable, open-minded, and has a keen eye for details and process. If you have the opportunity to work with Natalie, do not let it pass you by!
