Is cremation allowed in Judaism?

We don't do cremation in the Jewish tradition. We believe strongly in burial. We return to the earth and we provide a space for the mourners to come and be with their loved ones, to have a location to sit and visit with their loved ones. There are also traditions where you can come to someone’s grave after they have died and ask for forgiveness.
